His base plans to show its pleasure at the outcome in the manner forged in European cities: calls for violence against Jews.
New York, November 3 – Voters and campaigners for the projected winner of the mayoral elections here tomorrow have launched a frenzy of preparation for their candidate’s triumph, stockpiling incendiary materials, blunt objects, and other essentials for use in the unplanned antisemitic frenzy in which they expect to engage to celebrate the achievement.
Fans of Zohran Mamdani, the Democratic Party candidate and frontrunner for Mayor of New York City, described to a reporter the extensive procurement, storage, and distribution of bricks, firebomb ingredients, knives, clubs, and assorted weapons to deploy during the inevitable and spontaneous pogrom targeting Jews, Jewish neighborhoods, Jewish institutions, and Jewish-owned establishments, an incident scheduled to take place spontaneously once the City issues official announcement of Mamdani’s victory on Tuesday night or Wednesday.
Activist Linda Sarsour, who spearheaded the effort to bring Mamdani to prominence, could contain her excitement with only supreme effort. “The timing could not be better,” she gushed, then equivocated: “Well, it could be a mite more perfect. November 9th would be on the nose, the anniversary of Kristallnacht in 1938. Just as spontaneous. But we can’t wait that long. November 4th or 5th it is.”
Pollsters foresee an edge for Mamdani over his main opponent, former New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, whose administration oversaw an uneven response to the COVIS-19 epidemic in the state and faced near-constant criticism for incompetence and corruption – in addition to sexual harassment allegations about Cuomo himself; he was forced to resign in 2021. Mamdani already defeated Cuomo in the Democratic Party primary several months ago; Cuomo is running as an independent, but has faced an uphill battle in this Democratic Party stronghold.
Mamdani’s pro-Islamist base plans to show its pleasure at the voting outcome in the traditional manner, forged in European cities: rallies and riots that call for an Arab Palestine from the River to the Sea, with calls for violence against Zionists and little care given to any theoretical distinction between Zionist Jews and any other Jews, followed by outright violence against Jews, with, again, little care given to any distinction between Zionist Jews and other Jews, and a compliant media that couches even the most heinous violence as an involuntary, understandable reaction to alleged Israeli behavior, which, if it occurred in the other direction, could not escape an “Islamophobic” characterization by the same media.
Sarsour and other Mamdani supporters gave conflicting answers on whether the stockpiles include guns, or whether the list of targets includes any non-Jewish Zionists. They also deplored the lamentable scarcity of paragliders.
