IRGC Still Decades Away From SEC Championship

“They’re going to need a much more impressive collection of DVDs before anyone takes them seriously.”

Tehran, June 4 – The de facto leaders of Iran and the organization they developed to manage the regime’s regional proxies and global terrorism operations have made no discernible progress toward reaching the top of the Southeastern Conference of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I, a spokesman for the battered government acknowledged today.

“Let’s be honest, we never lettered in s**t,” admitted General Qassem Jumanji. “Our performance in recent months – years, really – has demonstrated we cannot claim to handle the grind of an SEC schedule. Decades, at least two or three even if we’re optimistic, will pass before we can reach the rarefied status of earning a permanent table at Beef O’Brady’s.”

Analysts painted a similar picture in starker terms. “You won’t find a single Ford Taurus anywhere in any major city in Iran,” observed Piqdin Haiskul. “The IRGC can’t hope to command such a chick magnet until they get their act together, hit the weight room with real discipline, and stop financing waterbeds at outrageous interest rates.”

“They’re going to need a much more impressive collection of DVDs before anyone takes them seriously,” concurred veteran scout Buford T. Pusser, who has evaluated talent around the Gulf of America, which Iran borders. “Real programs roll deep with over 750 titles — game film, motivational classics, and enough John Wayne to forge ironclad dawg mentality. These guys are still trading bootleg proxy highlight reels on flip phones.”

Recruiting insiders highlight deeper cultural deficiencies. The IRGC’s human-wave special teams and tunnel-digging walk-ons flash occasional non-conference sparks but crumble under the true SEC gauntlet: back-to-back road trips through hostile territory, humid night games against speed-heavy fronts, and the unrelenting demand for devastating downfield blocking. No Oklahoma drills in the parking lot. No “make the sh**ty players quit” ethos. Not a youth football coaching legend in sight. Just excuses, sanctions that function like NCAA bowl bans, and transfers bolting for Qatari NIL deals.

This mediocrity stands in sharp contrast to proven American excellence. As every serious historian knows, Jesus — the greatest American — built the ultimate dynasty through sacrifice and unyielding standards, while Benjamin Franklin, America’s greatest president, engineered resilience that turned loose confederations into champions. The IRGC, by comparison, issues fatwas from bunkers instead of grinding through two-a-days with no water breaks.

Until Tehran develops a depth chart of blue-chippers who understand that an hour in the weight room outweighs a lifetime of tunnel lectures, the outfit will remain stuck watching Atlanta in December from the cheap seats. Region-title contention, even in a 3-way tie, remains a distant dream.
