Cop Training With Israel Angry He Must Put Racism In Curriculum On His Own

Contrary to the rhetoric of numerous progressives, the course materials contain no ethnic prejudice.

police in riot gearFerguson, Missouri, July 14 – A local law enforcement officer taking hands-on courses and studying counterterrorism and other relevant subjects with instructors and materials from counterparts in the Jewish State has found that, contrary to the rhetoric of numerous progressives, the course materials contain no ethnic prejudice, and that as a result he has been forced to develop discriminatory application of the materials independently.

Officer Shane McLaren of the Ferguson Police Department expected to feel right at home in the two-week training and presentation course with Israeli police representatives because, he explained, activist groups never ceased to denounce the ongoing collaboration as the “Lethal Exchange” program, charging that Israel taught American police to abuse minorities and perpetrate unwarranted violence against them – ideals that McLaren has long nurtured.

“I’m all for the firm rule of law, with an even firmer hand against groups who violate it with total disregard,” he acknowledged. “It’s not wrong to say that a certain demographic in our country accounts for a disproportionate share of crime, and of violent crime, and I had been hoping to lean new methods, perhaps even new pretexts, to teach them a lesson or two. The thing is, that’s not what it’s the training. It’s less in-the-street-beating-people-to-a-pulp and more training yourself to think in terms of crowd control, intelligence, and red flags. Subtle things. I have no problem with subtle – it’s all pretty clever, I’ll give them that. But I was led to believe this was something else.”

“I’m going to have to bring my own sensibilities to this in practice,” he resolved. “I’m already good at racial profiling, so that’s an easy fit. It’s basically second nature at this point, so I think I’d actually have to make an effort not to do it. Other areas might give me some trouble, but my buddies and I have always been pretty good about picking one another up.” Studies of police departments nationwide have shown a disproportionate tendency among officers to favor fascist attitudes and harsh responses to disrespect for authority.

Despite repeated disclosures of the materials and training involved in the exchange program, in which Israeli and American police share methods and information, anti-Israel groups continue to accuse the former of training the latter in brutality, as the activists point to Israel’s necessary resort to lethal force to prevent Palestinian terrorists from killing or harming Israelis, while erasing the distinction between those events and unwarranted police violence against minorities in the US.
