“I was definitely in it for the glory of jihad and freeing our lands of the infidel usurper,” one recalled as he hurled a rare copy of an illuminated Quran into the pyre, then watched as it curled, blackened, and disintegrated, adding to the flames.
Gehenna, March 14 – Denizens of the Realm of Perdition who arrived there because of involvement in violence toward innocents in the name of Islam have been sentenced to an eternity of keeping the Realm in searing heat by feeding its fires with copies of Islam’s foundational text.
Islamic terrorists condemned to Hell as a result of their murderous ideology report that their everlasting punishment consists of taking the book they had used to justify their barbarity and hurling it into the furnace to fuel the fires that keep Hades at a blazing temperature fitting for the burning shame the Realm’s residents deserve.
Mahmoud, who died in 2014 when his suicide belt was detonated by a British sniper in Iraq, told PreOccupied Territory that he and his companions spend most of their time shoveling Qurans or fragments of Qurans and other important Islamic texts such as collections of Hadiths into the flames of Hell.
“That’s basically what we do now,” he explained. “For me, it’s a specific kind of torment, but I can’t speak for the other people here. Everyone has his own heinousness to confront for all time.” He noted that in addition to attempting to kill “infidels,” he had engaged in mass rape and murder on behalf of the Islamic State throughout the group’s territory in Iraq and Syria.
For Salah Dirani, the path to feeding flames with the Quran came via an attack on an American vessel in 2001. “I was definitely in it for the glory of jihad and freeing our lands of the infidel usurper,” he recalled as he hurled a rare copy of an illuminated Quran into the pyre, then watched as it curled, blackened, and disintegrated, adding to the flames. “I, uh, I was wrong, and it’s going to take me an unlimited number of lifetimes to work off the searing guilt accruing from my realization of the truth.” He trudged over to the next pile of Islamic texts and began throwing them in the furnace as several other dead terrorists brought more wheelbarrows of Quranic lore into position for burning.
Chief Quran-disposal demon Ismail Samael observed that occasionally, the torment of seeing one’s lifelong assumptions, and the identity constructed around them, be proved not just wrong, but evil, causes a deceased terrorist to hurl himself into the flames in an attempt to put an end to the suffering. “I relish those moments,” he confessed. “Because instead of ending their misery, it compounds it – here, when you try to run from the consequences of our behavior, it only makes things worse, and there’s no way to blame the West or anyone else for immoral actions stemming from one’s own free will.”
He punctuated his last remark with a jab of his pitchfork in the backside of Yahya Ayyash, a Hamas operative who pioneered devastating bombings against Israelis.
