Palestinian Rape-Jewish-Women Strategy Yet To Prove Itself Militarily

But it does sometimes make the men doing it feel powerful.

Khan Yunis, December 15 – Decision-makers in the various militant groups remaining in the Gaza Strip and West Bank areas not under direct Israeli control conducted an analysis of their long-term approach to liberating their land from the clutches of the Zionist usurpers and have concluded that so far, in the approximately one hundred years since the adoption of the approach, the use of widespread sexual violence mostly against the females in the enemy population has yielded limited positive results in terms of actually removing any land from the clutches of the Zionist usurpers, but it does sometimes make the men doing it feel powerful.

Leaders in Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Popular Resistance Committees, and a smattering of smaller terrorist organizations urged their followers to hold fast to the rape-Jewish-women strategy as a way to free Palestine, a strategy that will certainly bear political and geographic fruit at some point, even though it has born no such fruit in the many decades that Palestinian terrorists have followed it.

“Lest our people get the impression that our cause is not actually about taking control of the land,” assured Ayman Anas, a Hamas spokesman, “it can be both things at once. It can be a so-far-unsuccessful strategy for liberating Palestine, and it can also be a way for our men, who feel powerless after so many glorious defeats that we paint as triumphs, to do things that make them feel, at least for the few seconds they can maintain it, masculine and dominant.”

“But of course it’s all about freeing Palestine, of course.”

The mass rape of Jewish women and girls – and of no small number of men – on October 7, 2023, and of those held in captivity for two years afterwards, while dramatic, yielded no documented results of Palestinian control of current Israeli territory. In fact, some analysts have observed, the approximately 5,000 Palestinians who crossed the border that day focused a noticeable share of their attention and resources on the raping, and not, as military thinkers might assume, on seizing and holding territory against an anticipated IDF response.

“The mentality behind the operation appears to assume that the raping would demoralize and deter Israel,” surmised analyst Hugo Figger. “This, despite ample evidence across more than a hundred years of cases that such violence induces resolve and harsher opposition, not flight or surrender, to the point that every major Arab military effort against Israel has resulted in less territory under Arab control, not more. Concluding from all this evidence that they just need to do more raping is… interesting.”
